UTTAR PRADESH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY(UPTU) is the university of Uttar Pradesh where students dreams comes true , It was established on 8 May 2000 by government of the Uttar Pradesh. Under the University Act, 'Technical Education' includes programmes of education, research and training in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Town Planning, Pharmacy, Applied Arts & Crafts and such other programmes and areas that the central Government may in consultation with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) by notification in Gazette declare.UPTU is currently located in I.E.T. Campus at Sitapur Road in the Capital of U.P. at Lucknow but is in the process of having its own Headquarter building in its vicinity. UPTU also has a NOIDA Centre and Regional office to facilitate closer academic and industrial interaction around that zone where a prominent cluster of private affiliated colleges exists it has been sub-divided into five zones with 150-160 colleges in each zone for the ease of management and facilitating inter-zonel comparison and possible internal competition to enhance quality of teaching-learning processes. about 200000 aspirants are applied to take admission in this university and give exam of U.P.S.E.E and then half of the students are eligible to take admission in it. every year there are 30,0000 are enrolled in the university and 80,0000 are admitted every year. so if any wants to take admission in UPTU then he/she have to pass the U.P.S.E.E exam, and then you have to attend the counselling in which you will get the colleges of your choice according to your respective rank and marks in U.P.S.E.E exam. also here you can select the courses of your choice like B.tech /M.tech /M.pharma /B.pharma/ MCA/ MBA/ P.H.D and lots more from this university.
